Casa Broner was built in 1960 as the residence and studio of the German architect and painter Erwin Broner (1898-1971). Declared a Cultural Heritage in the year 2000, it represents a key piece of modern architecture in the Balearic Islands. Following a meticulous restoration – led by the architects Isabel Feliu and Raimon Ollé – it has been Obras Construcciones y mejoras Sa Torre opened to the public with the aim of showcasing the significant legacy of Erwin Broner as an architect and artist.

Casa Broner is one of the best-located houses on the island. The project involved the restoration of the entire house to transform it into a museum honoring one of the most important figures in Ibiza’s architecture, who brought numerous painters and sculptors to the island. The focus was on renovating the facade and exterior details, as well as improving the garden next to the house. With the renovation of the interior spaces, the museum could be opened to the public, showcasing Broner’s artworks, which were donated to the city of Ibiza by his family after his passing.
