This project involves the complete renovation of a building in the historical neighborhood of La Marina. The intervention in this area, within a city designated as a World Heritage site, represents a design adventure. The pre-existing 12th-century cistern (aljibe) and the stone arcade that separates the two sections of the building become the protagonists of this surgical intervention. The new elements reconfigure the original space and create new, special relationships and dialogues between different materials.
