ECO PUNTO offers an opportunity for the residents of the old town, as well as business owners, to contribute to waste separation. At this point, there are color-coded containers, each equipped with a sensor that signals when individual containers are full. It then notifies the company responsible for emptying them.

ECO PUNTO is part of the Intherwaste program, which aims to implement projects that improve waste management in historical neighborhoods. Other European cities with significant historic cores, such as Córdoba, Krakow, Porto, and Tallinn, have participated in this program along with Eivissa.
